Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Arrested & Charged For Allegedly Killing His Wife, Creepy Mugshot Released [PHOTO]

He’s been charged with first-degree murder.

William Stevenson, the husband of former First Lady Jill Biden, has been arrested in connection with the death of his wife.

A grand jury in New Castle County, Delaware, indicted the 77-year-old on a first-degree murder charge on Monday.

His deceased wife, 64-year-old Linda Stevenson, was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead last year.

William and Jill married in February 1970, when she was an 18-year-old student at the University of Delaware. Stevenson was 23 at the time.

She met Joe Biden, then a Democratic senator for Delaware, in 1975. A court granted her a divorce just months later.

TMZ broke the news of Linda’s death after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at the house she shared with Stevenson on December 28. They found her unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

“William reportedly cooperated with police at the time,” TMZ reports. “The cause and manner of death have not been released … dispatch audio from the incident mentions cardiac arrest. William was the one who called 911.”

Delaware state police say Linda’s body has been released to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of her death.

The office of Jill Biden, the former United States First Lady, and former United States President Joe Biden declined to comment after NBC reached out.

Biden stepped away from his presidential duties during the 2024 elections, ceding to Vice President Kamala Harris, who eventually lost to Donald Trump.

He revealed having been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer last May. A statement from his office disclosed he was suffering from prostate cancer, which had already spread to his bones.

The cancer was discovered after he reported urinary symptoms. Doctors later found a small nodule on his prostate.

The former president has kept a low profile since then.
