NFL Fans React With Outrage To The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Ridiculous 2026 Schedule

The Jacksonville Jaguars are headed overseas again, but with a twist.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will once again play in London during the 2026 season. Fans have become accustomed to seeing the franchise overseas every year, so it’s not a surprise. However, the NFL schedule did bring about a huge surprise with the announcement on Wednesday.

Jacksonville will play not one, but two home games in London during the 2026 NFL season. This move coincides with a major renovation project at the team’s home stadium in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars have a long-standing agreement to play in London annually, which generates significant revenue. There have also been rumors of the team moving to London. However, with them doing stadium renovations, that does not seem likely as it once did.

For one year, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be moving, but to another state. Not permanently. Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel reported last year that the team will play their 2027 home games at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Their current home, EverBank Stadium, will undergo $2 billion in renovations, making it temporarily unavailable.

NFL Fans Were Not Thrilled With The Jacksonville Jaguars Playing Multiple Games In London

The Jaguars will be slated to play two home games in London in 2026. One game will be at Wembley Stadium and the other at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Jaguars will play home games at reduced capacity in 2026 due to renovations to EverBank Stadium.

Their home opponents in 2026 are division rivals Houston, Indianapolis, and Tennessee. They also have Pittsburgh, Cleveland, New England, Philadelphia, and Washington on the schedule.

There weren’t too many happy fans to hear this news.

“Just move the jags to London at this point,” one person said.

“This UK stuff is tired,” a second fan wrote about the Jacksonville Jaguars being out there.

“All these fans champion the international games because their “growing the game” when in reality all that’s doing is making the demand for games in the US go up. All that’s doing is taking away from your experience as a fan. I get wanting to grow the game, but at what cost? Our pockets, our time, our energy wasted,” a third fan added.

“Wow, as an NFL fan from Europe, it’s sad to read so many ignorant comments.. Despite the rivalries, NFL fans should be a family worldwide but I guess the Americans doesn’t like sharing.. ☹️,” a fourth fan commented.

“I thought this wasn’t happening anymore!? 2 games!?” one final fan said.

It’s not all bad news for Jaguars fans in February. With the Super Bowl 61 logo unveiled this month, many have noticed its color pattern. Many bettors believe the Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears will meet in the Super Bowl.

Losing home games for a Super Bowl appearance would be just fine.
