A new camera angle has surfaced of the stunning confrontation between Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver DK Metcalf and a Detroit Lions fan.
In the second quarter of Sunday’s game at Ford Field, CBS cameras showed DK Metcalf exchanging words with a Lions fan. Metcalf threw a punch at the fan before walking away, a move that would have led to an ejection if the officials had seen it.
Making the incident even weirder? A stadium worker was just a few feet away from Metcalf and still didn’t bother to intervene.

This new angle shows just how bad that attack by DK Metcalf was. The #NFL should suspend him for a year. I also hope that fan presses criminal charges and sues both Metcalf and the league.

Metcalf will likely be suspended for the action. We don’t know what the Lions fan said to provoke him, but there’s never an excuse for violence involving a professional athlete and a fan.
Per ESPN, Metcalf finished the day with four catches for 42 yards. The Steelers narrowly held on for a tight 29-24 win, clinching another winning season and putting them a step closer to the AFC North division crown.
