However, while Jordan’s latest victory in a different sporting discipline garnered massive attention, so did his eyebrow-raising celebration. A video of Michael Jordan in Victory Lane after Tyler Reddick’s Daytona 500 win blew up the internet Sunday night.

The video shows Jordan playfully grabbing Beau, Reddick’s son. The angle makes it seem like he was touching the young kid inappropriately. The greatest NBA player of all time found himself being blasted by fans.

Not everybody went against him. Stephen A. Smith blasted the fans and the media for jumping to conclusions.

“It’s a kid that Michael Jordan loves like it’s his own kid. It’s a kid that he’s known for years… There’s nothing wrong with holding people accountable. We live in a day and age where it’s important to hold people accountable. But in the process of holding people accountable, it should be based on facts, not feelings,” Stephen A. Smith said.
