The moment came in the first two minutes of the quarter. After taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Chargers safety Tony Jefferson, he lay motionless on the ground. He would eventually start to adjust his helmet. However, he stayed on the ground.

Chiefs players were not happy with the hit on Tyquan Thornton. Many players came after Jefferson. His teammates backed him up.
