Miami parted ways with longtime general manager Chris Grier this week, but McDaniel remains in place for the time being, with the team just 2-7 in their first nine games of the 2025 NFL season.

Cowherd noted that Kiffin has been excellent as a college head coach and possesses a mentality that would help him succeed in the pros.

“You know what Miami’s gotta do next? Go hire Lane Kiffin!” he declared.

Of course, Kiffin has coached in the NFL before, but his stint was not that great.

His time as the HC of the Oakland Raiders from 2007-2008 was so forgettable, he hasn’t worked in the NFL since.
