“Coffeegate” Has Everyone Questioning If Benjamin Netanyahu Is Really Alive After Internet Detectives Spot Strange Error In New Clip Of Israeli PM [VIDEO]

Is Benjamin Netanyahu’s video real?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sparked some curiosity online after posting a video of himself getting a cup of coffee to refute rumors from Iran claiming he’s dead.

The Iranian state media recently declared that Netanyahu was either dead or injured.

However, he has taken to social media, posting a video from inside a coffee shop in which he speaks to an aide who asks him about the rumors.

“I’m crazy about coffee. You know what? I’m crazy about my people,” he says in Hebrew.

Some accounts have pointed out that the coffee in question does not spill despite the cup being filled to the brim. It also does not move or decrease in level after he takes a sip.

Reuters, an online publication, claims to have verified the location.

“Reuters verified the video’s location from file imagery of the cafe, which matched the interiors seen in the video,” the outlet notes. “The date was verified from multiple videos and photos of Netanyahu’s visit posted by the cafe on Sunday.”

Netanyahu has reportedly visited at least two towns hit by Iranian missiles since Israel and the U.S. bombed Iran on February 28.

He has also visited a hospital, a port and military bases.
