CJ Stroud Reveals Who’s To Blame For The Texans’ Ugly Playoff Loss To Patriots [VIDEO]
CJ Stroud had the worst game of his career.
Coming off his worst-played game in the playoffs, CJ Stroud couldn’t possibly have a worse game the following week, right? He surely did.
The Houston Texans quarterback threw four first-half interceptions, including one returned for a pick-six. Through one-plus quarter of play, Stroud was at one point 10 of 24 for 124 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions.
He did not turn the ball over in the second half, but the damage was already done. What he didn’t do, however, was play well enough in the second half to lead Houston to a win.
Stroud’s struggles with accuracy continued. He led the Texans to a pair of field-goal drives, but it wasn’t nearly enough for the team to ever get the lead. Many on social media believe his career went in the wrong direction when he tried to give advice to Caleb Williams.
Following the game, CJ Stroud knew just who to blame for this poor outing.

The Houston Texans’ season is over, ending against the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional round. There will be a lot of discussion around quarterback CJ Stroud. The No. 3 overall pick of the 2023 draft, Stroud has led the Texans to the postseason in all three years.
On Sunday, in the biggest game of the Texans’ season and, arguably, franchise history, Stroud had his worst game ever.

Stroud spoke candidly at the Texans’ postgame podium. The Texans QB said, “Today just wasn’t my day…I take full responsibility. “I feel like I let people down. And it hurts,” he told reporters.
He might be blaming himself, but his coach had his back. “Keep your head up, I love you,” he told reporters. “I have your back, this whole team has your back.”
Once again, the Texans head into an offseason wondering if they have what it takes to get past the Divisional round. It should be interesting to see if the Texans make any significant decisions to change directions with their offense in the offseason.
