Buffalo Bills Announce Devastating Injury Update On Superstar QB Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills have announced a concerning injury update regarding quarterback Josh Allen, which warrants close attention ahead of their Week 17 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Josh Allen and the Bills narrowly avoided an upset on Sunday, defeating the Cleveland Browns 23-20. Buffalo (11-4) kept pace with the New England Patriots, who maintained their lead on the AFC East with a comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Allen hasn’t missed a game to injury since his 2018 rookie season. But according to head coach Sean McDermott, the reigning MVP is dealing with a worrisome injury.

Per Alec White of the Bills’ official team website, McDermott said Allen is “day-to-day” with a right foot injury he suffered against Cleveland. The 29-year-old underwent X-rays at halftime, but nothing turned up.

Sean McDermott doesn’t expect Josh Allen to miss Sunday’s game. But as a dual-threat QB, it’s something to monitor closely against the Eagles’ prolific defense.

Allen is completing a career-high 69.6 percent of his pass attempts for 3,406 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He’s up to 552 rushing yards and 12 rushing TDs, three off of the career-high he had in 2023.
