ESPN’s Adam Schefter was among the many who posted the news. However, the website simply stopped working worldwide for everyone. The website Down Detector showed that X had issues on Monday morning, before Schefter’s breaking news posts.

Other platforms have begun to gain some of the momentum X has lost; however, no one can get news faster than the site. That is why it is loved so much. This is the latest major outage for the social media platform and the second of 2026 so far. The same thing happened last month. Hopefully, the worst is behind this, as many moves might be coming down in the NFL this week.

Hill, an eight-time Pro Bowler, will become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. He now needs a new team while still recovering from a dislocated knee and torn ACL he suffered in Week 4 last season.

Tyreek Hill would have had $11 million become fully guaranteed this month, and his release will reportedly save the Dolphins $22.8 million.

The Miami Dolphins are releasing wide receiver Tyreek Hill, which will reportedly save the team $22.8 million in salary cap space. Hill, who spent the past four years with the Dolphins, suffered a dislocated knee and torn ACL four games into the 2025 NFL season.

He was among multiple players cut by the Dolphins, including edge rusher Bradley Chubb. Unlike the other players, Hill faces an uphill battle as most teams will question if he can be the same player after his recent injury.

Hill was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, having won his lone Super Bowl in 2020. The 31-year-old is a five-time first-team All-Pro, a 2018 second-team All-Pro, and an eight-time Pro Bowler.

He just might have to sign a prove-it deal before he can even think about getting one more big contract.
