Cleveland Browns Have Reportedly Been Brutally Rejected by 4 Head Coaching Candidates
The Cleveland Browns are still looking for a new head coach.
The Cleveland Browns are still in the market for a new head coach after firing Kevin Stefanski following a five-year tenure with the AFC North team. After only two winning seasons, the Browns parted ways with Stefanski, who joined the Atlanta Falcons in this very coaching carousel.
Meanwhile, his former team has received multiple rejections during their search. The Browns announced interviews with Mike McDaniel, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, and others. So far, nothing has materialized, and their options continue to shrink.
While some franchises continue to look for their next man, with plenty of options, the Browns have received multiple negatives in the last couple of weeks.

After interviewing for their head-coaching vacancy, Mike McDaniel turned down the Cleveland Browns to join the Los Angeles Chargers instead. The former Miami Dolphins HC is seemingly heading to Los Angeles, but he could change his heart if the Buffalo Bills offer him the job.
Additionally, Anthony Lima of Cleveland 92.3 The Fan reported that the Browns contacted Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula, who thanked them for the call but rejected them.
Besides these two, the Baltimore Ravens’ new head coach, Jesse Minter, also turned them down before joining Lamar Jackson and Co. The New York Giants’ new HC, John Harbaugh, was on Cleveland’s radar, too, but he rejected them and chose the NFC East franchise instead.

The Browns haven’t been an attractive destination for top players, and it seems top coaches don’t want to join an organization without a clear direction.
They could still sign the youngest head coach in NFL history.
