AJ Brown Appears To Be Officially Finished With The Philadelphia Eagles
AJ Brown has seemingly talked his way out of Philadelphia.
The 2025 season was contentious for AJ Brown, leading to tons of trade speculation. Reports indicated that the relationship between Brown and Jalen Hurts had fractured, even after they had just won the Super Bowl.
Brown constantly railed against the offense as his numbers dipped every week. When he did get the ball thrown his way, he would often drop it, which led to backlash from the fan base. Somehow, he made it through the season without being traded.
The team was ousted in the playoffs after one game, and now big changes might be on the horizon.
Eagles HC Nick Sirianni was asked directly whether Brown will be back next season. His answer turned social media upside down.

The Philadelphia Eagles are in another weird spot this offseason with wide receiver AJ Brown. He has seemingly complained his way out of town after 4 seasons and seems on the verge of being traded. The Eagles have played in 2 Super Bowls and won 1 with Brown over the last 4 seasons.
It is still not enough for him. It’s an issue Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni addressed this week ahead of the NFL scouting combine.
“Will A.J. be here next season? I think we’re still in a spot, like, I can’t guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season,” Sirainni said, according to ESPN. “I’m thinking I’m going to be the coach next season, but you can’t guarantee anything past tomorrow.”

Brown’s future has become a hot topic in Philadelphia following an uneven 2025 campaign. There’s enough smoke that a potential trade seems plausible.
However, it would come at a costly price. The Eagles would be forced to eat plenty of dead cap space should they trade him before June 1.
In 15 regular-season games this year, Brown caught 78 passes for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. This year’s 1,003 marked his lowest total in Philadelphia. He also had four games with no more than two catches.
