A LOVE on the Spectrum fan-favorite couple has subtly revealed they won’t be returning next season in a buried comment on social media.

Netflix announced on Tuesday that the wholesome dating show, which follows a group of young people as they navigate dating and relationships on the spectrum, had been renewed for a fourth season.

The streamer has yet to confirm which castmates will be returning, but it seems one couple has decided not to appear.

Shortly after the news dropped, Tina Zhu Xi Caruso and Pari Kim, who met on Season 3 of Love on the Spectrum and are the show’s first LGBTQ+ romance, shared their excitement about the renewal in a joint Instagram post.

She shared a photo of her and Pari smiling on the subway, each holding bouquets of flowers.

“Ready to spill the T about the newest season of Love on the Spectrum. Season 4 is official! Pari and I are so proud of the cast of Season 4! Can’t wait for April 1st to watch it!” the reality star wrote in the caption.

Fans immediately responded with enthusiasm about the show and the twosome, coming back for another season.

“CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YALL ON MY SCREEN AGAIN,” one person commented, but to their surprise, Tina hinted that she and Pari would not be a part of the new season.

“Sadly we’re not,” the TV star replied.

“Well yes and no, you’ll see,” Pari chimed in, further confusing fans.

“Well we may or may not be on actually! You’ll have to wait and find out!” she added.

Pari tagged Tina in her next comment, encouraging her partner not to spill the beans too soon.

“Don’t say yes or no for sure! They have to watch to find out! We have to keep the surprise.”

They had a similar debate in their replies to other fans as well.

The exchange circulated on Reddit, where many expressed their disappointment over the lovebirds bowing out of the series.

“Whaaaat. That’s disappointing. Pari and Tina are so cute together and their stories are so diverse and inspiring with their family lives and disabilities…guess I’ll just continue to keep up with them on Instagram,” one fan reacted.

“My guess is they aren’t gonna be followed and documented throughout the season, but instead have a short ‘keeping up’ segment in an episode,” another predicted.

“I love them toooo. There’s also the chance that they are gonna be in it, but Pari is just bad at hiding it,” a third suggested.

“Noooooooo. I love them!” said a fourth.

Pari previously shared her thoughts about returning for another season after finally finding her “Princess Charming” on the program.

In an interview with The Advocate, the TV star said she would “love to come back if they invite me back for season four on Love on the Spectrum, and maybe someday be in more movies or TV shows.”

“I almost teared up at the ending when they show who’s still together and that the Railfans got another member,” Pari gushed.

“I wish there was more. I want another season because I just feel like there’s more to a story and I want to continue just telling it.

“And [Tina] has so many things I know she wants to tell, too. I really want to get to share more of my journey with everyone.”
