Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia’s Mom Was Wildin’ Out – Goes Viral While Grinding With Railing In The Stands [VIDEO]

Vanderbilt Quarterback Diego Pavia’s mother continues to steal the spotlight from him.

Back in September, Pavia went viral when he reportedly bet podcaster and comedian Theo Von that he could go on a date with his mother if the Commodores knocked off No. 11 South Carolina. Unfortunately, and fortunately, that is exactly what his tea went out and did.

Last month, both would be seen in the background during Nightcap with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco.

Pavia’s mother has been soaking in the spotlight since she was spotted in the stands during the 2024 season at FirstBank Stadium. She was much more reserved back then. Things have certainly changed.

On Saturday, Diego Pavia and the Commodores had their final home game of the 2025 season against the Kentucky Wildcats, and his mother was right there in the stands to cheer him on.

What a Saturday for Diego Pavia.

Pavia threw for a career-high 484 yards and five touchdowns, and No. 14 Vanderbilt beat Kentucky 45-17 Saturday. Pavia accounted for 532 total yards and six total touchdowns when it was all said and done.

While up 45-10 in the fourth quarter, ESPN cameras went into the stands to see his mother going crazy alongside some fans.

She was ready as she sported a “Pavia For Heisman” shirt that went all the way to her thighs as she held onto a football. She then put her right leg over the railing and started dancing.

“More insufferable than her son,” one X user said about her.

Pavia’s career-high day for the Commodores kept their hopes for a College Football Playoff berth alive going into the regular-season finale.

“This needed to be a statement win for us,” Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea said after the game.

Just like the shirt his mother wore, Pavia struck yet another Heisman Trophy pose, celebrating with teammates.

“He’s the best player in the country and deserves to be in the Heisman conversation,” Lea said of Pavia.

Vanderbilt has its most wins since 2013. With one more victory, the team can secure the first 10-win season in program history.
