“Odd Behavior?” – Social Media Is Divided In Intense Debate After ‘X’ User Posts Photo Of Adult Males Watching High School Football Game

Social media is divided over a viral photo showing multiple Florida Gators fans watching a high school football game last Friday.

Practically nothing has gone right for the Florida Gators, who are 3-7 following Saturday’s 34-24 loss to the No. 7 ranked Ole Miss Rebels, who have since moved up one spot in the latest AP top 25.

Mississippi sports reporter Caleb Salers shared a photo of multiple Florida fans watching a high school football game on Friday, the day before the Gators visited Lane Kiffin’s Rebels at Vaught Hemingway Stadium:

As football fans and social media often combine for chaos, this seemingly harmless photo sparked some arguments on X/Twitter. For instance, one side thought it was weird for Florida fans to show up to a Friday Night Lights game the day before their Gators visited Ole Miss.

“There were gators at the Tad Pad tonight. It’s so weird,” one fan wrote.

“at the game, they’re being very weird,” a user said.

Others came to the defense of the Florida Gators fans in the photo. One user even claimed to be one of the men in the image.

“So yeah, this is us. Our AirBnB was across the street from the field and we thought it be awesome to watch a HS playoff game. Soooo weird 🤣 AND we were on the home side and cheering for the Chargers,” the person wrote.

“Can’t lie, you and the dude taking the pic are the weirdos here. They’re not bothering anyone or causing an issue lmfao,” another said.

“So is it weird that NBC will go to HS games and show a few highlights during the Sunday night game broadcast? What a strange thing to cry about,” a user remarked.

“So they’re in town for the game tomorrow and decided to go to a high school game tonight? Nothing odd about that. Keep grasping,” one fan said.

The Gators already made one drastic change by firing head coach Billy Napier after a 3-4 start, a move that quickly led to speculation that Lane Kiffin would replace him after the season.

A month earlier, associate football and running backs coach Jabbar Juluke was suspended three games for his involvement in an altercation during the Gators’ game against the LSU Tigers.

The bottom line is that the Gators’ coaching staff requires a giant overhaul in the offseason. For now, the Gators need to focus on finishing their season on a high note, with the No. 20 ranked Tennessee and the 5-5 Florida State Seminoles marking their final two opponents.
