George Pickens’ Wild IG Story About Brittany Mahomes—Posted Then Instantly Deleted—Is Blowing Up the Internet [PHOTO]
George Pickens’ since-deleted Instagram story of Brittany Mahomes has blown up the internet ahead of the highly anticipated Thanksgiving showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs.
Yesterday, the star wide receiver made headlines when he called out Philadelphia Eagles fans in an Instagram comment on Gillie Da Kid’s Instagram post. George Pickens wrote that Eagles fans are “weaka*s” and said they were only “known for sandwiches” before deleting the comment.
If you needed extra hype for the game, look no further than Pickens’ Instagram story of Brittany Mahomes that has since been deleted.
The NFL Drop satire account shared a screenshot of the IG story at 2:46 p.m. EST yesterday, but it was later shared by other X/Twitter accounts.
bet105’s official account posted the image:
“George Pickens Thanksgiving Tease, Pickens tossed up a wild Brittany Mahomes post then deleted it,” added RotoLegends.

“@grok is this real?” a fan asked.
Grok was asked by multipe fans before stating that it’s actually a fake image. However, even that has yet to be confirmed (as Grok also seems to think that Pickens still plays for the Steelers).
Today’s clash between the Cowboys and Chiefs is their first since Nov. 21, 2021, with Patrick Mahomes leading his team to a 19-9 win at Arrowhead Stadium. Dak Prescott won his first meeting against Kansas City at AT&T Stadium in 2017 by a final score of 28-17.

Pickens is enjoying a career year in his first season with the Cowboys, racking up 67 catches for 1,054 yards and eight touchdowns, per Pro Football Reference. He only needs 87 more yards to break his career best of 1,140 set in 2023.
As good as Pickens’ 2025 season has been, the 5-5-1 Cowboys still face plenty of roadblocks to climb back into the postseason. The Quinnen Williams blockbuster trade with the New York Jets has bolstered the defense, but Dallas is still well behind the 8-4 San Francisco 49ers for the NFC’s final wild-card spot.
A loss on Thursday would put Dallas at 5-6-1, meaning they wouldn’t be able to finish with more than 10 wins. And with how stacked the NFC is this year, a 10-6-1 finish might not be enough to qualify for the playoffs.
