AJ Brown Drama Continues – Now He’s Calling Out Saquon Barkley To The Media, As Things Get Even More Awkward In The Eagles Locker Room [VIDEO]
While the Eagles have followed up their Super Bowl-winning season with an 8-2 record and top the NFC after 10 games, it hasn’t been an excellent campaign for Brown on a personal front, and he has made little secret of his disenchantment.
Brown was speaking to reporters on Thursday, with the Eagles set to play the Dallas Cowboys, when he seemingly took a shot at the reigning Offensive Player of the Year.
Asked whether he was the same player he was in years past, the wide receiver referenced Barkley.
“I guess Saquon ain’t the same player either,” he said. “I don’t got no comment about that. I don’t care about that.”

AJ’s comments have the Eagles fanbase split over what he meant. While some folks reckon this was an apparent dig at Barkley, others feel it was a sarcastic way of saying that both he and Barkley are just as good this season, despite their diminished numbers.
Of course, he could have been implying that both he and Barkley are shadows of themselves at the moment, which would likely mean a dig at offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.

Brown has just 457 receiving yards to his name, 10 games into the season. And, while he will argue that he’s not being targeted enough, he has appeared to give up on plays at times, leading to incompletions.
Barkley, on the other hand, has rushed for 662 yards on 175 carries at 3.8 yards per carry.
It’s safe to say that neither player has been as good as they were en route to their Super Bowl triumph in 2024.
However you choose to interpret AJ Brown’s comments, if there is indeed a situation, they’re probably not going to help.
Interestingly, they came after former Eagles star DeSean Jackson made some curious claims about Brown’s relationship with Jalen Hurts.
