SHOCK: DWTS’ Witney Carson shares what is ‘stressful’ about being Robert Irwin’s partner

Robert Irwin & Witney Carson

Witney Carson has revealed it hasn’t been a walk in the park being Robert Irwin’s partner.

It’s been less than a month since the wildlife conservationist, 21, debuted on ABC’s hit reality show Dancing with the Stars with his partner. He’s already performed the jive, tango, and salsa, leaving many fans fawning over him.

It now looks like he had nothing to worry about before the premiere. In fact, it should have been Witney who braced herself for the competition, as she now has had to take on another job: Robert’s wingwoman.

Earlier this week, the two took to Instagram with a video showing Witney gearing up and “coming in hot to check Roberts dms.”

Their clip quickly gained a lot of attention as one fan asked, “Okayyy so is that where I apply?”

Another added, “I truly love and care about Robert! If there was any chance at all that I would have a chance I want to take it. He truly deserves the best and I mean this with all my heart.”

A third wrote, “*everyone starts sending DMs immediately*.”

It seems she was way in over her head as she now admits her DMs are now filled with woman wanting to shoot their shot with Robert.

“Girls I love ya, thank you for the applications through somehow my email and flooding the DMs,” she reacted on her story. “If I could line you all up with Robert I would because you’re all 10/10 perfect cuties.”

Witney didn’t expect to get so many messages from their TikTok.

The dancer admitted, “Idk this is too stressful for me to handle lol.”

She let down some when she revealed, “We will not be looking for any contenders any longer.”

Witney confessed her DMs are still open to requests but she won’t be vetting them “quite yet.”

“We gotta focus up,” she mentioned.

“I’m going to save a bank of them and then present them to you at the very, very end,” Witney told her partner.

She then questioned if her partner should make another appearance on ABC after his time on DWTS ends, saying, “Robert for Bachelor?!”

Along with Robert, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron and Jen Affleck are amongst the season’s contestants who are still in the running for the Mirrorball Trophy.

The last person to win the show was The Bachelor’s Joey Graziadei and his partner Jenna Johnson.

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
