“Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 competitor Robert Irwin is excited about his role in the upcoming Disney film, “Zootopia 2.” And fans are looking forward to seeing him bring the character to life!

For Disney Night in Week 4, Irwin performed a Cha Cha to “Try Everything” from “Zootopia.” The judges scored Irwin and his professional dance partner Witney Carson a respectable 22 out of 30, putting them in the middle of the pack on the night. After their performance on October 7, Carson and Irwin chatted with “Extra,” and Irwin discussed his inclusion in “Zootopia 2.” He will be voicing the character, Robert Furwin.
“The cha-cha is so sneaky-hard… It’s just so technical and so challenging, but I’m really happy that we came out, we attacked it, and we really wanted to capture the spirit of ‘Zootopia,’” he told “Extra.” “So honored to be part of ‘Zootopia 2,’ and it’s just really fun to feel the magic of Disney.”
Fans are looking forward to seeing more of the fuzzy koala that Irwin will voice, and he gave a sneak peek of what the character will look like in an Instagram post on Friday, October 10. Irwin posted a photo of the koala drinking from a coconut. He is wearing a collared shirt, much like the one Irwin would wear while working at Australia Zoo.
The wildlife conservationist shared his thoughts in the caption. “I’m the voice of a disney character!!!! Keep and eye out for ‘Robert Furwin’ in the new Zootopia 2 movie!” Fans have reacted with great excitement to the news.
