HORROR STORY: Before His D3ATH Ozzy Osbourne Quipped EIGHT BRUTAL WORDS About Taylor Swift After Awkward Encounter

Sharon said Ozzy was a huge fan of Taylor's

Before his untimely d3ath on July 22 this year, Ozzy Osbourne shared his true thoughts on pop sensation, Taylor Swift.

At the 2014 Grammys, Black Sabbath’s Ozzy, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler claimed the Best Metal Performance award for God Is D3ad, from their Rick Rubin-produced album 13.

Subsequently, while addressing the media, the conversation took an unexpected turn. “You said you were a big fan of Taylor Swift,” Butler joked.

Taylor Swift has debuted her brand-new album

“Yes, I did,” Ozzy confirmed. “Yes, I am a big fan of Taylor Swift.”

Then, without hesitation, he leaned forward and declared, “Who the f— is Taylor Swift?” This comes as Taylor has announced her brand-new album and dramatic new look today.

The remark was playful, and Swift would shortly command 2014 with her blockbuster album 1989, which dominated the Billboard 200’s peak position for 11 weeks and delivered three No. 1 singles, including Shake It Off, Blank Space, and Bad Blood.

Nevertheless, Ozzy wasn’t entirely oblivious to her achievements at the time. He had previously encountered pop royalty and expressed tremendous admiration for her.

That encounter surfaced later in the year when Taylor appeared as a guest on The Talk. Sharon Osbourne recalled the day she, Ozzy, and their daughter Kelly crossed paths with Taylor while shopping in L.A.

Sharon recalled Ozzy being impressed by her aura as she said, “Finally, out of all the young, new artists, I’ve finally found one that is a true superstar,” he said. He said he’d never met anyone who had the aura that you have because your aura is one of elegance and pure, genuine talent. And he said that you were like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, all rolled into one.”

Sharon then flipped the question: “Now, what do you remember about my Ozzy?” The vocalist responded that his kind words were “the sweetest thing,” and mentioned how reserved he was during their meeting. “He was too busy staring at you!” Sharon joked.

The Black Sabbath icon passed away on July 22, aged 76, with his wife, Sharon, and children by his side. In his final years, Ozzy had been fighting health issues, which he had discussed openly, but remained committed to reaching Villa Park for his last show just days before his passing.

Announcing that Ozzy had d¡ed last month, a family statement, issued from his birthplace, read: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.”

This comes as international superstar Swift today announced the drop of her newest album after weeks of rumors. The music sensation made an appearance on a podcast with her beau, Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason, drawing over 1.3 million viewers to the live broadcast.

But while Taylor is notoriously private and rarely gives interviews, the Bad Blood songstress offered an insight into the record, which will be released in October.

Her new record, which she wrote on her Eras Tour and recorded to in Sweden, will feature 12 tracks, including a duet with Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaking about the album, Taylor said: “This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.”
