Hoda Kotb and Dylan Dreyer Say ‘Goodbye Summer’ as They Spend the Day by the Water with Their Kids
Hoda Kotb and Dylan Dreyer are soaking up the last few days of summer with their families.
On Sunday, Aug. 31, Kotb shared a series of photos on her Instagram from a day spent with her friend and former coworker Dylan Dreyer as they spent time together with their kids over Labor Day weekend. Kotb’s daughters Hope, 5, and Haley, 9, could be seen wearing life jackets and jumping into the ocean off a dock while holding hands with Dreyer’s sons Oliver, 5, and Calvin, 8, in one sweet photo.

Dreyer herself was pictured on the dock, sitting next to son Russell, 3, as she watched the other kids jump in.
Kotb included other photos of the kids splashing in the water and sitting on the dock, as well as a selfie of all the kids with herself and Dreyer.
“Goodbye summer. Xo. Ps thought the woman I spotted in last pix at @usopen was @gayleking,” Kotb wrote in her caption.

Back in July, Dreyer shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram as she enjoyed her vacation with her three kids, as well as her estranged husband Brian Fichera. The former couple posed for photos together as they spent time with Fichera’s family on a trip.
Dreyer and her boys could be seen swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand. Her three kids also posed together in a sweet sunset beach picture.
” ‘Find joy in things around you, take a deep breath, count to 10. You’ll soon find you’re living under sunny skies again’ -Misty the Cloud,” Dreyer wrote in her caption.
Dreyer, who also serves as the co-anchor of the third hour of Today, shared the news of her separation from Fichera on July 18 via Instagram. Dreyer and Fichera were married for 12 years and first met while working at the same local Boston news station before tying the knot in 2012.
The former couple has been navigating the transition into co-parenting. The family spent the Fourth of July holiday together, with Dreyer posting pictures of their outing to the Macy’s fireworks special, which she hosts for NBC.
Fichera also joined Dreyer on her recent trip to the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, where he served as her caddy. The two have always had a shared love of golf — Fichera even bought Dreyer her first set of clubs when they were newly dating.
