Fans concerned Val Chmerkovskiy, who has been having intense Dancing with the Stars rehearsals with Alix Earle, could be missing his Disney Night routine after a family emergency no longer need to worry, as the pro dancer appears to still be heading to the dance floor for the night’s competition.

The three-time Mirrorball champ and his wife, Season 33 champ Jenna Johnson, took to social media Tuesday morning to share some intel about a scary situation they faced the night before with their two-year-old son, Rome.

Val, who had previously been outspoken about another pro’s alleged dismissal from the ABC show, and Jenna each shared clips as they sat in a hospital, with their son wearing an Oxygen mask.

In the video, Jenna is sitting in a hospital bed with her son in her lap and leaning against her, with a blanket covering them both as she holds the mask of a nebulizer firmly over his nose and mouth.

She then flips the camera around to show Val sitting on a chair at the other end of the bed, holding up a phone with a child’s video playing on it to keep their son’s attention there as the treatment was administered.

“Wanna preface this by saying everything’s fine now and thank goodness Rome is home sleeping,” Jenna captioned the clip. “But this was our night last night.”

She later shared a photo of all three of them snuggled up together on the bed, praising her husband for being there and no complaining about a lack of rest the day before having a live show taping.

“This guy right here. Our absolute rock through it all. The calm during the storm,” she captioned the picture.

“Not one time mentioning his exhaustion or lack of sleep going into a show day. Only making sure that our baby is taken care of and mama is staying sane lol. Beyond grateful to do life with you,” she wrote.

However, if fans who saw the story were worried that the incident, or the lack of sleep, would keep Val from performing on show day, he went on to set the record straight in a later story.

Recording as he drove in a car, Val shared that he was definitely tired, but indicated he still planned to perform alongside Alix.

“Had quite an eventful evening last night. Had to take Rome to the hospital, but all is good and I am just underslept,” he said.

“But I feel very excited for this Disney night,” he added. “So tune in and vote please!”
