‘He Never Gave Up’: Jenna Bush Hager’s Touching Story About Husband Henry’s All-Night Hunt For A LOST Gift Melts Hearts On TODAY

Jenna Bush Hager has revealed that her husband, Henry, was ‘a little grumpy’ after she partied so hard at Savannah Guthrie‘s 50th birthday party that she lost a very important item.

During Monday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, the 42-year-old and her cohost, Hoda Kotb, were discussing milestone birthdays and how ‘fun’ they can be when the mother-of-three decided to share an anecdote from 2021.

‘Did you ever hear the story about Savannah’s 50th birthday?’ Jenna began. ‘Where I woke up the next morning and one of the stones out of my engagement ring had fallen out and I’m not exactly sure where it went…

‘But I also had this panic like, “Do I tell Henry now? Right when I wake up? Or do I tell him after maybe he’s had some food?”‘ Jenna explained as Hoda, who celebrated her 60th birthday last month, giggled next to her.

Jenna tiết lộ rằng chồng cô, Henry, đã "hơi cáu kỉnh" sau khi cô làm mất một viên đá trên chiếc nhẫn đính hôn của mình tại bữa tiệc năm 2021

‘I just said, “You’ve got to tell him right away,” and he was…,’ Jenna said as Hoda interjected and suggested: ‘Not happy?’ as her cohost confirmed he was actually ‘a little grumpy,’ as Hoda asked: ‘But?’

‘Never found! It was never found!’ Jenna laughed, before adding: ‘But anyway, had somebody said in your 20s, “Listen the 50th birthday parties are going to be so fun,” I might have not believed them.’

Mother-of-two Hoda replied: ‘You know what, I’m telling you, everything just gets greater, better.’

This led to Hoda opening up about her weekend and the time she spent with her Today cohost Savannah, 52, who visited her and her two daughters, Haley and Hope, at their new home outside of the city.

‘The whole Guthrie/Feldman crew came. You know what’s so funny about this, she was like, “I might try to swing by on Sunday,” because she doesn’t live near me, but she was gonna be on her way through my town.

‘She said, “We’re going to be there, coming at 3:10,” so I go, “Oh my God, people are now coming into our house, we have to have something in our house.”

‘So Hope, initially, got bowls and started putting in carrots and blueberries in just random bowls and was gonna leave them out and Haley was like, “No that’s not right,” so they put all of that in the freezer for unknown reasons.

‘I go, “We have been to have something here,” but this is how nice this neighborhood is, somebody had given us a bunch of cupcakes, beautiful cupcakes, that I took the whole box and put it in the oven and shut it and forgot about it.’

Hoda continued: ‘Guess what we served! We put them out, we put them on plates, we made lemonade, Hope put mint in it, and we had a little spread!’

Jenna responded: ‘Because I would say entertaining is something you’re new at,’ as Hoda laughed, before admitting that when her doorbell used to ring in the city, she would ‘panic.’

‘When someone rings your doorbell, if you’re used to being in the city, it’s either someone delivering something or something’s leaking! Nobody rings the doorbell almost ever…,’ she said.

‘Now, our front door is already open, it’s just a screen. A woman came over and brought a pie. You know what I said? “Come inside!” Hoda revealed, before admitting that she did clean her house before Savannah showed up with her husband, Michael Feldman. and their two children, Vale and Charley.

‘I have to say, I did. I pulled out the vacuum and vacuumed up some stuff. I’m like, “Kids, people are coming, let’s go! Clean up your room,” and they were looking at me like, “What?”‘

Hoda revealed earlier this month that she had made the transition from the city and was now living in a ‘whole new town’ with her adorable daughters.
