How Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Are Celebrating Halloween

Happy Halloween to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis!

​​Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children might be counting down to the spooky holiday on Oct. 31, which falls during their half-term break from the Lambrook School this year.

According to several anecdotes, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, have previously embraced the spirit of the season and celebrated Halloween.

In 2023, Hello! magazine published a photo of Princess Kate taking her kids trick-or-treating the previous Halloween.

The snap showed the Princess of Wales, now 43, standing at a wrought-iron gate with George, Charlotte and Louis with leaves on the ground around them.

Though it was difficult to discern the children’s outfits in the picture, the Princess of Wales carried a bag — perhaps to haul candy!

“For anyone doubting how down to earth William and Kate are… This is Kate. With their kids. Knocking on our door in London trick-or-treating at Halloween,” Jay Rutland, a neighbor, wrote over the picture with a jack-o’-lantern emoji.

A few years before, Princess Kate was also spotted shopping for Halloween costumes at a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Norfolk, where her family has a country house, Anmer Hall.

Kate brought George and Charlotte along for the shopping excursion in October 2019, where local Kathy Whittaker spotted her perusing the Halloween section.

A love of Halloween might run in the Middleton family, as Princess Kate’s mom, Carole Middleton, previously called the holiday as one of her favorite parts of fall.

“Halloween is an Autumn highlight for me. I can still remember the fun and frights from my own childhood; the chance to dress up, decorate pumpkins and go trick-or-treating!” Carole wrote on the Instagram profile for Party Pieces in 2022, the year before she sold the party supply business she started in 1987.

“I’ve even grown my own pumpkins this year, so I’m looking forward to decorating those with my loved ones,” she added about the activity she planned to tackle — maybe with her grandchildren!
