Dylan Dreyer of Today delivers a deeply emotional announcement about parenting After Split
The ‘Today’ show personality encouraged her fans to ‘keep trying new things.’
Dylan Dreyer fans know she spends plenty of time in the kitchen thanks to her super popular Cooking With Cal video series, which documents the Today personality and her 8-year-old son Calvin‘s joint culinary efforts. And if her latest social media post is any indication, she’s developed some serious cooking skills.
“Ollie, is this a make-again soup?” Dreyer asked her middle son.
“Yes!” Ollie shouted enthusiastically.
“It’s surprisingly good,” agreed Cal.
Dreyer’s youngest seemed less convinced than his older brothers, however.
“Rusty, do you like the soup?” Dreyer asked.
“Ummm…” Dreyer answered, smiling mischievously. Finally, after his mom asked again, Rusty answered in the affirmative.
“Yay!” Dreyer cheered.
“SOUP SUCCESS!!! All 3 liked the lentil soup and ate it all!! Moral: don’t give up…keep trying new things. Actual moral: totally got lucky. Guaranteed they won’t eat the leftovers tomorrow!” Dreyer captioned her post, which also included a photo of Ollie happily slurping his soup and a close-up shot of the meal.
Dreyer’s followers were definitely impressed, both with the soup and her parenting methods.
“Looks delicious ❤️,” declared one person.
“They are getting so big! The soup looks wonderful,” agreed a second.
“lol they’re tooooo cute!!! And that soup looks delish, chef!!” gushed someone else, with another person noting that “Those boys are quite open minded when it comes to new foods. I don’t think as a kid if my mom tried to give me lentil soup I would have given it a try…nice job mom.”
