Austin, 17, di3d on April 2 after he was allegedly st@bbed in the heart by Anthony at a track meet at Frisco Memorial High School in the suburb of Frisco, Texas, about 42 minutes north of Dallas.

Austin, a high school football st@r, told Anthony he was sitting under the wrong school tent, sparking a brief argument, according to police records.

Witnesses told Frisco police that Anthony threatened Austin, “Touch me and see what happened.”

The event turned fatal when Austin allegedly put his hands on Anthony, who then pulled out a knife and plunged it into the victim’s chest.

Anthony claimed he was acting in self-defense.

PRESS CONFERENCE STANDOFF

On Thursday, the both families engaged in a tense st@ndoff after Metcalf crashed a scheduled press conference that was being held the Anthony family and the advocacy group Next Generation Action Movement.

The Anthonys refused to speak to reporters until Metcalf left the building, ABC affiliate WFAA reported.

The briefing had been planned by advocacy group Next Generation Action Movement to clear up rumors about an online fundraiser that’s amassed over $450,000 for the Anthony family.

But it was put on pause when Metcalf refused to leave despite Next Generation trying to throw him out and threatening to call the police, according to local reporters in attendance.

After over half an hour, Metcalf was escorted out of the news conference by cops. The father, who had a sling on his right arm, shook hands with the officers before leaving.

At the conference, Minister Dominique Alexander, the founder of Next Generation Action, blasted Metcalf’s attendance as a “disrespect to the dignity of his son.”

“Regardless of what was going on, that was disrespectful,” said the pastor before going on a tirade about oppression.

Anthony’s mother, Kala Hayes, then gave a tearful st@tement and begged viewers to leave their family alone as the investigation into the fatal st@bbing continues.

“We have endured d3ath threats. My 13-year-old daughter is afraid to sleep in her own bedroom because she’s fearful of what might happen to her,” she said.

Hayes then said they haven’t seen a cent of the donations and blasted claims that they’ve bought a new home with the cash.

“I don’t know why we have been targeted and discriminated against before a fair trial,” she said.

“Our son deserves the same rights under the law that everyone is afforded to.”

Hayes ended her st@tement by sending her condolences to the Metcalf family as she broke down in sobs.

“To the family that experienced the loss, my heart truly goes out to you,” she said.

“To those who have supported my family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Anthony’s dad, Andrew, also shared his first post on Facebook since April 2 after the briefing on Thursday.

“GOD PLEASE PROTECT MY FAMILY,” the dad wrote.

TENSE CASE

Anthony’s family claimed there was a court order ruling that the families could not interact.

However, records show that only Anthony has been banned from being around the Metcalfs.

Anthony, who was released on Monday on $250,000 bond, did not attend Thursday’s hearing.

The teen was arrested on April 2 and held on a $1 million bail.

On Monday, Judge Angela Tucker, who has also been caught in the storm of hateful online threats, ruled to lower Anthony’s bond.

Anthony was cuffed when he admitted that he had st@bbed Austin to d3ath during a track meet at Frisco ISD in the suburb of Frisco, Texas, about 42 minutes north of Dallas, where both of the teens were students.

However, he claims that the attack was self-defense.

The k!lling has sparked an online firestorm, with supporters of Anthony’s family rushing to donate money to his case.

Karmelo Anthony was released on $250,000 bond after a judge reduced it from $1 million on Monday.

Anthony had been in Collin County jail since he was arrested on April 2 and charged with the fatal st@bbing of Austin Metcalf.

The teen is now on house arrest in his parents’ house with an ankle monitor.

He is not allowed to use social media.

He can’t contact Metcalf’s family in any way.

Anthony can only leave his house with prior approval from the court, and he must be supervised by a parent at all times.

He is required to check in with the judge’s bailiff every Friday morning.

Anthony will return to jail if he breaks any of the house arrest conditions.

An online fundraiser amassed a fortune after the family asked for legal and living expenses.

Once Anthony was sprung from jail, he joined his parents in a $863,000 mansion that they are renting.

Neighbors claim that the family has been ordering a flurry of Amazon packages and had a Domino’s pizza delivered to their home, according to the Daily Mail.

In their online fundraiser, Anthony’s family has insisted the cash is “not solely dedicated to legal expenses” and said they were expensing a “safe relocation.”

Anthony allegedly murd3red Austin after the two got in a fight over a seat, and the teen di3d in his heartbroken twin brother’s arms, according to police.

Metcalf, the victim’s father, has been outspoken about his son’s k!lling, which he previously said was sparked after the Austin told Anthony he was sitting in the wrong seat at the track field.

The dad said the attack happened moments after a person sitting behind his sons was “mouthing off.”

“They were sitting there, and someone was behind them mouthing off, and they turned around and said, ‘Who are you?’” Metcalf told Fox affiliate KDFW.

Metcalf previously described how his son was k!lled over “something so small, so trivial.”

Austin’s heartbroken twin, Hunter, fought tears as he recalled how he desperately tried to save his brother.

“I tried to whip around as fast as I could,” Hunter previously told ABC affiliate WFAA-TV.

Hunter described how he looked at his brother and held onto him as he was giving him CPR moments before the twin di3d on the track field.

Since his murd3r, the heartbroken Metcalf family has had to squash online rumors claiming the son di3d from a drug overdose after fake autopsy reports circulated online.

Jeff Metcalf described how “social media warriors” using his son’s d3ath to create racial and political discourse as “disheartening.”

“This is not a black and white issue. I don’t want someone stepping up on their soapbox trying to politicize this. Unless you were there, unless you saw it: don’t spread gossip,” the dad previously said.

Frisco Police Chief David Shilson was also forced to issue a st@tement on April 4, imploring people to be cautious of the inaccurate information spreading online.

“Beware of those taking to social media to deliberately spread misinformation, hate, fear, and division,” the st@tement from Shilson read.

“Yesterday evening a fictitious account was created using my name perpetuating misinformation. This is a criminal offense and a 3rd degree felony which will be investigated.”
