HODA’S JOURNEY

Hoda’s last day on Today was January 10, after nearly three decades at NBC.

Jenna took over as Hoda’s co-host on what’s now called Jenna and Friends in April 2019, following Kathie Lee Gifford’s exit.

Kathie joined Hoda as a host in 2008 and remained until her retirement.

The fourth hour debuted the year before with Hoda, Anne Curry, and Natalie Morales in the hosting seats.

In February 2025, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Sheinelle Jones was strongly being considered to replace Hoda on the show following her extended leave.

Execs are also said to be looking at Willie as a permanent replacement, along with popular podcaster and actor Matt Rogers.
