Tom Brady is taking some heat on social media following a notable slip of the tongue during the Eagles-Cowboys game on Sunday.
The Cowboys came back from a 21-0 first-half deficit to beat their NFC East rivals 24-21, with Brady and Kevin Burkhardt on the call for FOX.
The former quarterback got Landon Dickerson’s name all wrong after Osa Odighizuwa broke through the Eagles‘ offensive line to sack Jalen Hurts in the fourth quarter and had to correct himself.

Other fans came to Brady’s defense after the slip-up.
“Tom Brady said, “Just blasted through Nicker—excuse me, Landon Dickerson—right there.” There were no “g”s,” one wrote.
“Yall dont know ball and it shows. Im not in the Brady Bunch but he probably was about to call him Nickerson,” said another.
It’s pretty apparent that Brady wasn’t trying to bust out a racial slur, but the internet was always going to run with it.
