A disturbing incident occurred at the NBA YoungBoy concert in Kansas City. A 14-year-old was arrested after violently attacking a 66-year-old worker.

A viral video capturing a T-Mobile Center employee being assaulted by a teenager has sparked outrage on social media.

YoungBoy, who once threatened the life of NBA player Dejountae Murray, could be heard performing on stage when the melee broke out.

The video shows the employee being pushed to the ground and yelled at by the teen before a flurry of punches came in. Somebody physically had to grab the teenager to stop him from the attack as the elderly man got up with blood on his mouth.

The elderly worker has since been identified as Thomas Schlange, who was working the rap concert at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City Sunday night when he asked the teen to move because he wasn’t sitting in his assigned seat, Fox 4 News reported.

Schlange said he doesn’t remember much from the assault at NBA Youngboy’s concert.

“I mean, it is serious; I went down and had blows to my head,” Schlange told Fox 4 News. “He was so enraged, so we were just, in essence, trying to protect the fans.”

Police arrested the teen, but he was later released to his parents while authorities continue to investigate.

The report states that Schlange was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. It was unfortunate for him since he had already suffered glaucoma and “one of his eyes may suffer more damage,” his family said on a GoFundMe page created to help with medical costs.

NBA YoungBoy Concert In Chicago Gets Cancelled

What happened at NBA YoungBoy's Kansas city concert? Teen arrested following employee assault

NBA YoungBoy’s Chicago concert at the United Center this week was abruptly canceled by the venue.

The United Center announced the cancellation on Monday in a post on its website.

“The United Center has made the decision to cancel the NBA YoungBoy show scheduled for Wednesday, September 24 in Chicago,” the message said. “If you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller, please reach out to your point of purchase.”

The rapper was set to visit the United Center on Wednesday as part of his “Make America Slime Again” tour, which is supporting his latest album.

As many rap fans know, YoungBoy has an ongoing beef with Chicago rapper Lil Durk, who is currently in jail over a conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire charge, stemming from a 2022 shooting in Los Angeles that k!lled the cousin of rival rapper Quando Rondo.

Rondo was the rapper who was being attacked by King Von, a friend of Lil Durk, which ultimately led to him being shot and k!lled in 2020.

There had been many threats on the life of NBA YoungBoy if he had shown up in Chicago.

This cancellation was the right thing to do and likely saved many lives.
