Seattle Mariners fans in 2025 are feeling damn good.

Game 1 of their American League Division Series against the Detroit Tigers did not go as planned, but they had another shot at it on Sunday.

Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh smacked a double with one out in the inning to make the crowd lose their minds.

After sliding into second base, Raleigh celebrated as a cameraman soon showed the Seattle Mariners fan base losing their minds.

We can only hope that social media does its job and finds this young lady to let her know that she was noticed and is loved out here in these social media streets.

This isn’t the first Mariners fan to go viral as one guy was labeled the “Anti-Phillies Karen” for his thoughtful actions of giving a home run ball to a kid.

The Seattle Mariners Nab First Home Win In 24 Years

For the first time in 24 years, baseball fans in Seattle experienced the taste of a postseason victory at home.

Another sold-out crowd lost its minds once the final pitch was thrown on Sunday.

Facing Tigers ace Tarik Skubal with the possibility of going to Detroit down 2-0 in this best-of-five American League Division Series, the Mariners dug deep behind two Jorge Polanco home runs and an 8th-inning run to secure the victory.

The Seattle Mariners’ win at home was the first one since Oct. 15, 2001. The home team won 116 games in the 2001 season and wouldn’t return to the playoffs until 2022, where they would get swept by the Houston Astros, 3-0.

Two more victories, and the team can head to the American League Championship Series for the first time since 2001.
