It’s been just two games since her return, but Cameron Brink is already making a buzz in the league. The LA Sparks star’s comeback was the highlight of the team’s game against the Aces. Even though they lost the encounter, fans and the Coach were happy with her performance.

The player, though, had some regrets. In a recent episode of the ‘Straight to Cam’ Podcast, the star forward talked about her emotional return and the regret.

The 23-year-old star’s return was a major discussion point for the new podcast episode. The star also made it clear that she was emotional during the actual time with her family in the stands. Her co-host, Sydel-Curry Lee, praised the player for her game on the return. She also mentioned that, knowing Brink’s character, she won’t be satisfied with underachievement.

But the player was not happy with the injury at first. She mentioned that in her though about the injury and how she could have dealt with it, avoiding the injury altogether. .

“I’m back on the court … I feel good. The basketball player in me, though, is already thinking about what I wanted to do better. I’m like, I wish I was more aggressive. Should’ve done, you know. Should have handled this ball screen better,” She said on the Podcast (via Instagram/Straight2Cam).

The player mentioned that she was nervous entering the game, getting used to the pace and drills again on the court. She added that the media were on the sidelines, but she didn’t miss that part. The podcast will be live soon for the fans.

Cameron Brink Had Successful Return

A return from the ACL injury is very hard to deal with, considering the complexities of the injury. The player took 13 months but worked on her mobility and game, along with the recovery progress. She also spoke about her mental health and her routine to deal with the same.

The team’s defensive stalwart returned to the lineup after a 13-month injury break. Many considered it a low-key return, with the player getting minimal action. But she entered the court in the first quarter only and scored five points with a block, a steal, and an assist. Her coach, Lynne Roberts, was happy with her output following the return. In her next game, she upped her performance with more impactful plays.
