Kate Martin is living a good life.

Along her basketball journey, she has had one woman by her side.

The Golden State Valkyries player debuted her relationship with Claire Gransee in June 2024.

Since then, Gransee has supported Martin at several of her games. Gransee was even in the room with Martin when the Golden State Valkyries picked her up in the expansion draft.

Gransee is originally from Wisconsin. She attended Milton High School in Milton, Wis., where she received several academic honors, according to her LinkedIn.

She is going incredibly viral this week after her latest post on social media.

Claire Gransee took to her Instagram story and posted a spicy outfit. She posed in a mirror while rocking a loose-fitting red shirt that was open on the sides to show off her curves. She was also sporting blue jeans and tennis shoes.

WNBA fan favorite Kate Martin was living the good life with the Las Vegas Aces before she was taken by the expansion team.

Usually, an expansion team is set up to have a bad first year or couple of years. Fortunately for Martin, her new team has been better than her old team.

Formerly of the Las Vegas Aces, Kate Martin is now playing for the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA. In her rookie season with the Aces, she averaged 2.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 34 games.

Things would change considerably after the Valkyries selected her in the WNBA expansion draft.

For the first time in her young professional career, the former Iowa women’s basketball standout eclipsed 20 points in a game when she recorded a career-high 21 points in the Golden State Valkyries’ 81-78 loss to the New York Liberty last week.

The Edwardsville, Illinois, native led the Valkyries in points despite coming off the bench and playing only 24 minutes.

Kate Martin also scored most of her points from beyond the three-point line, going 4-10 from beyond the arc. She finished the game shooting 46% from the field on 15 attempts.

The Las Vegas Aces selected Martin with the 18th pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

With more playing time, Martin is now averaging 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Her Golden State Valkyries are currently 9-7, while her former squad is 8-8.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
