Amid speculation that he’ll try to run as the Democratic nominee in the 2028 United States presidential election, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith offered some significant praise for Donald Tru:::mp.
Even though the United States Constitution limits each president to two terms in the White House, Donald Tru:::mp has made comments about wanting to run yet again in 2028. The reality Tru:::mp must face is that in three years, the American people will be voting in a new president.
During a NewsNation town hall in April, President Tru:::mp also endorsed the idea of Stephen A. Smith running for office. The 45th and 47th POTUS called Smith “a good guy” and said he’d “love to see” the popular ESPN personality run.
Smith appeared on the Fox News “Hannity” program, where he praised Tru:::mp’s efforts on “ending” wars around the globe. Smith went as far as stating that no administration has done it better than Tru:::mp’s:
“He has done more than practically almost any administration has tried to do when it comes to ending conflicts around the world and he’s put himself in a position where the political capital he stands to gain isn’t necessarily that great.
“His willingness to do so obviously something that shouldn’t be ignored and something that should be, dare I say, applauded to some degree… there’s not much to gain for him in a lot of this, yet he engages anyway and you have to give credit where credit is due.”
Tru:::mp met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, last week. Tru:::mp expressed content with the meeting, but no deal was reached to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
Stephen A. Smith Can Realistically Win The 2028 Election

To many, the idea of a prominent sports personality making the jump into politics sounds crazy. But remember, many were skeptical about former President Ronald Reagan (once a prominent actor) beginning a political career.
There was also a time, 10 years ago, when many laughed at Tru:::mp’s announcement that he’d run for office in 2015. And it was a stunner for the ages when he went on to defeat Hillary Clinton, who was leading in most major polls before election day.
Stephen A. Smith has the money, resources and fanbase to launch a successful political campaign. Remember, the man just signed a lucrative extension with ESPN worth over $100 million.
Smith’s humor, outgoing personality and energy would undoubtedly appeal to plenty of undecided voters across the US., too.
Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate
Brittney Griner (Photo via Twitter)
WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.
The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.
The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”
However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.
It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.
Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”
This is the first time I’ve heard Brittney Griner speak! 🤨

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.
The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.
Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.
This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
