One of the worst things to hear in the United States is reports of an active sh00ter.

Another week brought yet another situation.

An active sh00ter was reported at 345 Park Ave. in Manhattan, the tower housing Blackstone Inc.’s global headquarters and the National Football League.

A police officer and one other person were shot at an office skyscraper in midtown Manhattan Monday evening.

The gunman, armed with an assault r!fle, sh0t a police officer, while the gunfire also struck a bystander. He could be seen walking into the building at one point.

The suspect had not yet been identified. A motive for the sh00ting was also not clear.

The one civilian shot is in critical condition, according to a law enforcement official. Another civilian and the NYPD officer, who was shot in the back, are both expected to survive, the official told CNN.

Caution tape surrounds a damaged Chevrolet dealership in the aftermath of a police vehicle that crashed on Main Street in Little Falls on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024.
A sh00ting was reported Monday evening at a high-rise midtown Manhattan building.

At least one police officer and one civilian were shot inside 345 Park Ave. in New York City.

345 Park Avenue is the building that contains offices for Blackstone and the NFL headquarters. The building is under lockdown.

Police sources told ABC that the active sh00ter entered the building and fired at a police officer, who was working private security at the time he was sh0t, and a c!vilian.

Police sources later added that the sh00ting suspect k𝕚lled himself on the 33rd floor of the building.

“At this time, the scene has been contained and the lone sh00ter has been neutralized,” NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch posted on X.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.

At family dinner, my mother-in-law suddenly screamed that her $10,000 was missing. Before I could react, my sister-in-law pointed straight at me. “It was her! I saw her sneaking into Mom’s room!” she shouted. In an instant, my MIL grabbed a baseball bat and ordered me to confess. “I didn’t take—” I tried to explain, but the bat was already swinging—aimed directly at me and my 4-year-old daughter. Instinct kicked in; I wrapped my arms around her as my MIL roared, “Where’s my money?!” At that exact moment, the front door slammed open—my husband had just walked in.

When the door swung open, I thought I had simply come home a little early. But then everything collapsed around me: my mother lay on the floor, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth… and the phone beside her showed only one final message—my father on a yacht, hand in hand with a woman I had never seen before. In that moment, I understood that the secrets in my family were far darker than anything I had ever imagined.

In front of 52 family members, my mom held up her glass, gestured to my sister, and said proudly, “This is the daughter who’s always been there for us. The other one? She’s never done anything.” I stayed silent. No one knew that I was the daughter who’d been paying their mortgage and bills for nearly a decade. So I simply smiled, set my drink down, and walked out of the reunion. The next morning, my phone screen lit up—38 missed calls waiting for me.

The Burtons’ annual family reunion was always loud, chaotic, and soaked in cheap champagne, but…
