Who needs a PGA Tour card when you’ve got Scottie Scheffler on contacts?

Ted Scott is out here reminding us that life on the bag can be just as sweet as life swinging the club. After another win at The Open in Northern Ireland, Scott didn’t just walk away with a smile, he walked away $300,000 richer. That pushed his estimated earnings for the 2025 season to just under $2 million.

Sure, he’s technically the guy carrying the clubs. But on Instagram? He’s the one carrying the attention as of now.

Scott’s latest viral moment came shortly after Scheffler captured his fourth win of the season. With over $19.2 million in winnings, Scheffler is dominating on the course. And thanks to the standard 10% caddie cut, Scott is reaping the rewards too.

“Dreams do come true,” Scott joked in a video he posted after the Open. In the clip, he’s tossing cash in the air and smiling in full caddie gear, surrounded by his family. It was lighthearted, real, and hit home with fans.

“Nothing better than coming home to my crew!” he added. “We have fun! Live in the moment. After all, the present IS a gift.”

Ted Scott has been around the Tour for a while. He first made a name for himself caddying for Bubba Watson, helping him to two Masters wins. That partnership lasted 15 years before they split. Scott considered retirement before getting the call from Scheffler in 2022.

He had his doubts at first.

“I don’t know if I want to work for you because of your attitude,” Scott told Scheffler before accepting the job. The two had barely met. All Scott remembered was seeing Scheffler get feisty during a tournament in New Orleans. But Scheffler promised to work on his temper. Scott gave it a shot.

That decision changed everything.

Now, the duo is one of golf’s most successful teams. Scheffler’s game is on another level. And Scott? He’s cashing checks, creating content, and still mowing the lawn when he gets home.

No caddie is living better right now.
