Caitlin Clark was ruled out of the Fever’s road matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday, marking the eighth consecutive game she has missed due to a right groin injury suffered in the Fever’s 85-77 win over the Connecticut Sun on July 15.
Despite not being on the court, she is still all about basketball, and she wants her teammates to be the exact same way.
Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham love to play the game, but also love spending time in their bikinis.
Before the Indiana Fever lost 100-91 to the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night, Caitlin Clark’s teammates decided to soak up the sun.
Leading up to the Fever-Sparks game, Fever guard Sophie Cunningham shared a video of her and Lexie Hull sporting bikinis while tanning by a pool.
Her TikTok post included this caption: “We are off to our game tonight. Convince us there’s a swimsuit brand that wants to partner with two Indiana Fever mermaids.”
Clark called out her teammates for tanning prior to tipoff.
“Swimsuit brands plz comment ‘focus on basketball,’” Clark wrote in response to Caitlin Cunningham’s TikTok post.
Caitlin Clark Has Missed A Disturbing Number of Games

Caitlin Clark was supposed to dominate her second season and have her name in the MVP running.
Instead, her sophomore year in the pros has been filled with injuries and missed games. The 23-year-old has missed eight straight games as she continues to recover from a re-aggravated groin injury.
Indiana head coach Stephanie White joined ESPN’s “NBA Today” program on Monday and was able to provide an update on the status of the Fever’s cornerstone superstar.
“It’s day-to-day right now,” White said.
“We’re really just putting no timetable on it. Going through the rehab process, and then we want to reintegrate her from a strength and conditioning standpoint, and then get her back to basketball activities.
“So we’re taking it one day at a time. We’re really slow rolling it, slow playing it this time. She tried to come back a couple of times and just had setbacks along the way. So the most important thing for us is Caitlin’s long-term health, getting her back to a hundred percent before we put her back on the floor.”
Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate
Brittney Griner (Photo via Twitter)
WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.
The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.
The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”
However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.
It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.
Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”
This is the first time I’ve heard Brittney Griner speak! 🤨

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.
The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.
Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.
This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
