Legends also sometimes become helpless. NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, a name synonymous with comeback stories, is now asking for prayers. His family is walking through what he’s calling one of the toughest seasons of their lives, as they fight alongside his newborn grandson who’s been battling unexpected medical complications since birth.

Kelly’s daughter, Erin Kelly-Bean, and her husband, Parker, recently welcomed their first child.

What should’ve been a joyful time quickly turned into something that nobody wants. The baby, whose name the couple hasn’t shared yet, underwent emergency surgery shortly after birth.

While the procedure went well, the road ahead remains rough.

On Wednesday, July 30, Kelly took to Instagram with an emotional update. “Last night didn’t go so well,” he wrote. “Little Bean is back on the medication. We are completely spent, spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally.”

He didn’t hold back. His message was raw and real. “We don’t know how we’re going to keep going,” he said. “Sorry for being this raw. But we don’t understand how God can see this… really see it… and not move.”

Kelly’s words hit hard. He said his family feels like their prayers are bouncing off the walls. But even if they are exhausted, they’re asking others to keep praying when they can’t.

NFL fans and people across the country have responded with an outpouring of support. Comments flooded in. One fan wrote, “Standing with you all. We won’t stop praying.

Another responded to Kelly’s post saying, “Baby Bean is so loved and we are all praying for the miracle we know HE can perform.”

One fan shared their own journey: “My nephew spent 7 weeks in the PICU. So what you’re going through is so familiar to me. I understand the exhaustion and the fight. He is with you.”

Even those struggling with their own faith showed up. “I wish my faith was as deep as yours,” someone commented. “God is using y’all in ways you’ll never know.”

Kelly and his family are holding on to whatever hope they can find. “We’re so thankful for tears… because lately, it feels like that’s all we’ve got left,” he said.

For now, they’re leaning on the kindness of strangers, the strength of their community, and the quiet power of prayer.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
