Eleonora Boi, the pregnant wife of former NBA star Danilo Gallinari, was attacked by a shark while vacationing in Puerto Rico in what she called “the worst day of my life.”

On her Instagram account, Boi said she was attacked by a shark while vacationing at Carolina Resort in Puerto Rico. Boi was rushed to a hospital and underwent surgery, and thankfully, she and the baby on the way are doing just fine.

Boi, who married Danilo Gallinari in 2022, said surgery was done to fix her bruised leg. She thanked those who showed love and support, and jokingly stated that the shark would be hearing from her legal team soon:

“It was the worst day of my life, maybe my grandmother Nella was right when she said “on the seas you traitors”. I never thought I could get attacked by a shark and I was near the shore and on a super crowded beach. Thankfully me and my baby are fine, I was rushed to the rescue and the surgery to fix my poor bruised leg went well. Now I just have to recover from the great scare and try to forgive the great friend who betrayed me.
Shark will be hearing from my legals soon.

Thank you all for the great love and thank you for worrying about us with a message or a prayer❤️ I thank my husband who despite being married to Fantozzi-Boi he gave me all his love and courage. Today we even missed the Bad Bunny concert but Don’t be deceived, it’s only for a little.”

Local reports initially noted that it was a “marine animal” that attacked Boi, though it wasn’t initially confirmed to be a shark (a barracuda attack wasn’t ruled out). It’s not clear which shark species was responsible for the attack.

Eleonora Boi and Danilo Gallinari have two children: daughter Anastasia and son Rodolfo, with the third on the way. The former No. 6 pick of the 2008 NBA Draft currently plays for Vaqueros de Bayamón of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional in Puerto Rico.

The 6-foot-10 Danilo Gallinari never reached superstar status, but he was a reliable scorer and three-point shooter during his 14-year career. Gallinari averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in the NBA, shooting 38.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Gallinari had his best season as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers in 2018-19, averaging 19.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 43.3 percent from downtown (his second-best career mark).

He averaged over 18 points per game four times and averaged double-digit points in 12 of his 14 NBA seasons

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
