The Manhattan gunman who opened fire inside an office building, k%lling one person and wounding several others, has been identified.
A sh0oting incident has left New York City in sh0ck following a man entering 345 Park Avenue wearing a bulletproof vest and armed with an assault rifle on Monday evening.
According to reports, one New York police officer is d3ad, while four other people were injured after he opened fire on the 33rd floor, where he barricaded himself. The aforementioned location is one of the busiest financial areas in NY, with the building housing offices for the NFL, as well as KPMG, and Blackstone.
NYPD, FBI, and other emergency services locked the building down, evacuating occupants floor by floor. Mayor Eric Adams confirmed that the sh0oter was neutralized, asking residents to stay away from the area.
He also said he would head to the hospital to speak to the victims’ families.

It was later reported that the sh0oter died from a self-inflicted bullet wound.
He has since been identified as Shane Tamura, a Nevada resident who was a star at Granada High School. The 27-year-old is said to have won m%ltiple awards playing high school football.
Authorities are working on determining a motive. But there’s speculation suggesting he may have targeted Blackstone.
No ties to terrorism have surfaced so far.
“The 27-year-old from Las Vegas k%lled an NYPD cop and at least four others, and injured several others,” the New York Post reports.
“Authorities also found a vehicle with Nevada plates registered to Tamura at the scene, with a rifle case inside, sources said.”

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.
The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.
The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”
However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.
It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.
Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.
