An update has emerged on the concerning video of a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan who appeared to be passed out during last week’s preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers.

Earlier this week, a video surfaced of a female Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan passed out in her seat at Raymond James Stadium in Saturday’s preseason opener, a 29-7 victory for the home team.

In the video, a male was seen trying to wake the woman by shaking her with his arm around her shoulder. Folks on X/Twitter who saw the video got worried and speculated that she was drunk or potentially drugged.

An extended video of the incident has since been released. Two paramedics can be seen walking down to her seat and checking on the woman, who is now awake. They help the fan to her feet, and she briefly speaks to the male before paramedics take her away.

Apparently, the male fan decided to continue watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Tennessee Titans game after paramedics took the woman out:

TikTok user @prettyp791, who filmed the entire incident, posted another video of the male fan returning to his seat, seemingly gathering the woman’s belongings:

The Titans and Buccaneers primarily played their second and third-stringers in the preseason opener. Backup quarterback Kyle Trask got most of the reps for the home team, completing 12 of 16 pass attempts for 129 yards in the victory.

At family dinner, my mother-in-law suddenly screamed that her $10,000 was missing. Before I could react, my sister-in-law pointed straight at me. “It was her! I saw her sneaking into Mom’s room!” she shouted. In an instant, my MIL grabbed a baseball bat and ordered me to confess. “I didn’t take—” I tried to explain, but the bat was already swinging—aimed directly at me and my 4-year-old daughter. Instinct kicked in; I wrapped my arms around her as my MIL roared, “Where’s my money?!” At that exact moment, the front door slammed open—my husband had just walked in.

When the door swung open, I thought I had simply come home a little early. But then everything collapsed around me: my mother lay on the floor, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth… and the phone beside her showed only one final message—my father on a yacht, hand in hand with a woman I had never seen before. In that moment, I understood that the secrets in my family were far darker than anything I had ever imagined.

In front of 52 family members, my mom held up her glass, gestured to my sister, and said proudly, “This is the daughter who’s always been there for us. The other one? She’s never done anything.” I stayed silent. No one knew that I was the daughter who’d been paying their mortgage and bills for nearly a decade. So I simply smiled, set my drink down, and walked out of the reunion. The next morning, my phone screen lit up—38 missed calls waiting for me.

The Burtons’ annual family reunion was always loud, chaotic, and soaked in cheap champagne, but…
