After putting together a Hall of Fame career with the Giants, Michael Strahan is looking to rejoin his old squad’s ownership group.

Strahan is joining forces with billionaire Marc Lasry in an effort to acquire a portion of the team.

The Giants recently announced plans to sell a minority portion of the team.

Around 10 percent of the team is up for sale, according to multiple reports.

There is no word on how much Strahan would contribute to this ownership group.

His net worth isn’t known, but some reports put it at around $65 million.

However, he earned $76.5 million over the course of his NFL career and is still pulling in large salaries through Fox NFL Sunday and Good Morning America.

Strahan isn’t alone in his pursuit of the stake in the Giants though.

His former teammate, Eli Manning, is putting together a competing bid for the 10 percent stake in the Giants, according to Bloomberg.

The Mara and Tisch families, the owners of the Giants, announced in February that they were considering the sale of a non-ownership stake.

It was around that time that Manning told CNBC that he would be interested in buying into his former team.

“There’s probably only one team I’d be interested in pursuing,” he said.

“It’s the one I played for for 16 years.”

While there is only one stake up for sale, it could be divided up among multiple investors.

That means Manning and Strahan could both get a slice of the pie.

It is only 10 percent of the team, but that could get pricy.

The Giants are worth an estimated $7.3 billion, according to Forbes.

That means an interested investment group would need to offer up around $730 million for the stake in the team.

If Strahan gets a piece of the team, he likely won’t have to leave his Fox NFL Sunday gig.

The league has relaxed its restrictions around broadcasting owners after Tom Brady bought a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

The move has sparked feverish speculation. Could Strahan be plotting a quiet transformation from NFL legend to NFL power broker? If successful, he wouldn’t just be commenting on the game every Sunday — he’d be influencing decisions in the boardroom, shaping the future of one of the league’s most storied franchises.

While some insiders suggest this is simply a smart business investment, others believe Strahan’s ambitions stretch far beyond finances. “He’s always been larger than life,” one source close to the situation teased. “Owning part of the Giants would make him more than a face on TV — it would cement him as a true power player in the NFL.”

For now, the football world can only speculate. But one thing is certain: Michael Strahan isn’t done making headlines. And if this shocking move goes through, the Giants legend could be stepping into his boldest role yet.
