WNBA schedule 2026: League announces record 216 games will be broadcast across networks and streaming services

The WNBA is nearly back, and fans will have quite a few ways to watch their favorite teams in 2026. The league announced its broadcast schedule for the season, which will feature a record 216 games broadcast across multiple networks and streaming services.
During the 2026 WNBA season, games will be broadcast on ABC/ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, CBS/Paramount+, ION, NBC/Peacock/NBCSN and USA Sports, as well as NBA TV and WNBA League Pass.
WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert called it an “unprecedented lineup” in the league’s release Wednesday.
“The WNBA is coming off a landmark season in 2025, one that was defined by incredible basketball and countless memorable performances,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. “With an incredible 2026 draft and so many notable free agency signings and trades now giving way to the start of the season, the WNBA’s unprecedented lineup of linear and streaming partners will shine a light on must-see matchups, and the remarkable skills the WNBA’s stars provide each time they step on the court.”
Here’s how those 216 games will be split across networks in 2026:
ESPN and ABC
Disney — which includes ESPN and ABC — will air 30 total games during the year. Additionally, ABC will also broadcast the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.
A total of 17 games will air on ESPN, with nine of them sitting in the network’s newly formed “Women’s Sports Sundays” slot, which begins June 21.
ABC will air 13 games — and the All-Star Game — starting with an opening weekend doubleheader on May 9, which will feature the Indiana Fever vs. the Dallas Wings and the Las Vegas Aces vs. the Phoenix Mercury.
CBS and Paramount+
CBS will provide prime-time coverage for eight games in 2026, though the network will broadcast a total of 20 games across the CBS television network and Paramount+.
CBS will also start things off with a doubleheader. On May 23, the Chicago Sky will take on the Minnesota Lynx at 1 p.m. ET. After that, the Aces will take on the Los Angeles Sparks at 8 p.m. ET.
Scripps/ION
ION will broadcast the most WNBA games this season. A total of 50 regular-season games will air on the network, including Friday night doubleheaders.
It’s part of a new spotlight series by the network, which promises the WNBA will be front and center on Friday evenings.
Amazon Prime Video
A total of 31 games will be available on Amazon Prime Video this season. That total includes 30 regular-season games and then the championship game of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup, which will take place June 30.

NBC and Peacock
The WNBA is coming back to NBC in 2026. The network will air seven games in 2026, all set on Sunday.
The following day will be owned by Peacock, which will stream 12 Monday matchups. Peacock, however, will also stream three weekend games.
If you’re looking for the WNBA Finals, every single game will be streamed on Peacock and aired on NBC or USA Network.
USA Network
Speaking of USA Network, it will be a popular hub for WNBA games in 2026. The network will broadcast 48 total games, the second-highest total among all networks or streamers. USA Network coverage of the WNBA will usually take place Wednesday or Monday nights.
NBA TV and WNBA League Pass
NBA TV will broadcast 15 WNBA games in 2026. The first of which will feature the Portland Fire vs. the Sky on May 9. On the final day of the regular season, NBA TV will feature the Toronto Tempo taking on the Connecticut Sun.
The WNBA will once again provide League Pass, which promises “select live games.” Local blackouts may apply, however. Any fan who buys WNBA League Pass will have access to every game the following day. Games can be streamed on the WNBA App or WNBA.com.
Caitlin Clark, Fever lead with 44 national broadcasts
In her third season, Caitlin Clark will continue to be the focus of the WNBA. The Fever have the most nationally broadcast games in 2026 with 44.
