The principal of a Chicago elementary school where a teacher allegedly mocked Charlie Kirk’s ass@ssination has shockingly tried to paint her employee as the victim.
Lucy Martinez was identified as the alleged woman in a video making appalling gestures which alluded to Kirk’s d@ath at a ‘No Kings’ rally at the weekend.
In the video, the woman makes a hand gesture shaped like a g::un and puts her hand to her neck. Kirk was fatally sh0t in the neck while he was debating students on the Utah Valley University campus in September.
The footage sparked widespread fury and MAGA supporters tracked down Martinez’ workplace, Nathan Hale Elementary School, to report the behavior.
Now, principal Dawn Iles-Gomez has hit out at ‘threats’ made against the teacher in a letter sent to the school community and seen by the NYPost.
‘We were recently made aware of social media posts with language that resemble a potential threat to a staff member,’ the letter reads.
‘We take all potential threats extremely seriously to ensure the safety of our school community.
‘The Chicago Police Department (CPD) and the CPS Office of Safety and Security have been notified, and CPD is currently investigating this situation further.’

Iles-Gomez said local police would offer ‘additional safety support’ at the beginning and end of every school day in the near future ‘out of an abundance of caution.’
The letter made no mention of the alleged video of Martinez, nor of whether she had faced any discipline.
In the wake of the initial backlash, the school website was shut down.
According to one social media user, the person recording the video was in a truck with a Kirk flag on it.
‘Meet Lucy Martinez – an elementary school teacher from Chicago who thought it was funny to mock Charlie Kirk’s d@ath,’ right-wing commentator and co-founder of Students for Trump, Ryan Fournier, wrote on X.
‘This woman teaches children. Lucy is now the perfect face of the “No Kings” movement – a movement that preaches “love” but celebrates d@ath. Evil always exposes itself.’
One user commented on Fournier’s post and said: ‘People with this mentality can’t be teaching children. Imagine if you had a child that had conservative or Charlie Kirk supporting parents and the children were like that too.’
Kirk supporters and even members of the Trump administration have been on the lookout for liberals who mocked the conservative activist’s d@ath online.

The administration revealed earlier this month it had revoked the visas of six foreigners accused of making light of the tragedy.
Among those targeted was an Argentine who said Kirk ‘devoted his entire life spreading racist, xenophobic, misogynistic rhetoric’ and deserves to burn in hell, as well as a South African who said those grieving Kirk were ‘hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom.’
A Mexican national who has also had his visa revoked said Kirk ‘died being a racist, he died being a misogynist… there are people who deserve to die.’
A Brazilian national said Kirk ‘died too late’ and blamed the conservative activist for ‘a Nazi rally where they marched in homage to him’.
The final two foreigners were a German national and Paraguayan national. The former said ‘when fascists die, democrats don’t complain’ and the latter called Kirk a ‘son of a b**** [who] he died by his own rules’
Vice President JD Vance and other top US officials have encouraged people to call out offensive language about Kirk that they see online.
In an unusual post to X last month, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau asked social media users to copy him on any relevant posts, saying he was personally ‘disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action.’
