Cam Skattebo won’t be playing another game in 2025.

The Giants selected Skattebo in the fourth round of April’s draft, and he did not take long to become a fan favorite.

Unfortunately, they will have to wait until the 2026 season to cheer for him.

Skattebo suffered a snapped leg in the second quarter against the Eagles. Players on both teams were showing clear concern for the young running back. That’s how you know it is bad.

His leg would be put in an aircast as he got carted off.

According to his mother, Becky, the running back would often run into telephone poles as a child.

So pain is clearly something he is used to. Unfortunately, this injury ends his rookie campaign.

Before the injury, New York Giants’ Jaxson Dart connected with Cam Skattebo for an 18-yard TD, tying the game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the contest.

Cam Skattebo and Jaxson Dart have a close, friendly relationship that began when they met. This injury is going to hurt both of their developments.

Skattebo spoke at length about that relationship just last week.

We send our prayers to Cam as he now has to deal with a long process of getting surgery and then rehabbing so he can play during the 2026 season.
