Post Malone performed at halftime of Thursday’s Thanksgiving game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys, and he had a special tribute to Marshawn Kneeland.
Thanksgiving Day 2025 isn’t just about turkey and touchdowns; it always brings out some of the biggest stars in the music industry.
The 30-year-old music star performed for the crowd at AT&T Stadium during Thursday’s game. He put on a super show for the fans during a break in the clash with the Kansas City Chiefs and made sure that everybody knew that he had Kneeland on his mind.
“I’m from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years,” Post Malone said.
The lifelong Cowboys superfan and Grammy-nominated music star walked onto the stage with a vintage Cowboys jacket loaded with pins, including one that was a special tribute to late defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who tragically took his own life earlier this month.
It was a blue pin with a giant white’ No. 94 on it.
Fans watching the game quickly noticed the tribute.

This past Sunday, before the team played the Philadelphia Eagles, the team paid an emotional tribute to Kneeland with a touching video.
The video began with the moment Marshawn Kneeland was drafted by the Cowboys in 2024 and featured highlights from his time with the franchise.
Following his tragic death, the Cowboys started the “Marshawn Kneeland Memorial Fund” in part to help Kneeland’s girlfriend, Catalina, who is pregnant with his child.
As for the team, the Cowboys are on a roll as they try to improve their record even more and make a strong push towards the playoffs.
