Former football star gets sh0t and k!lled in a McDonalds parking lot.
Tysean Berry has an entire community in mourning after his tragic death. His tragic death was a result of an altercation in a McDonald’s drive-thru. It left the 25-year-old Howard County man sh0t dead.
On Friday, December 19, officers responded to the 8700 block of Washington Boulevard at approximately 3:30 a.m. Once cops made it to the scene, they found a man suffering from gunsh0t wounds.
The man was identified as Tysean Berry. He was quickly taken to a hospital in critical condition. Berry later died, according to police. Howard County police arrested the suspect. He has been identified as 22-year-old Christian Kinuthia. Officers arrested him on the scene.
He has since been charged with second-degree mu::rder and first-degree assault.
Gun violence is, unfortunately, a way of life in the United States. A member of South Oak Cliff High School is wanted for sh00ting his teammate. He is said to have accidentally sh0t him hours after they won the State Championship.
Last month, New York Jets star CB Kris Boyd was left in critical condition following a sh00ting. He is on the road to recovery.
More On Tysean Berry
Around 3:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a sh00ting and a man with gunsh0t wounds. Police say Tysean Berry got into a fight in the McDonald’s parking lot with a group of people. That group included Christian Kinuthia.
Kinuthia allegedly sh0t Berry and remained on the scene. No one else was injured. The victim was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore in critical condition, police said.
“The victim and a group got into some sort of altercation in the drive-thru of the McDonald’s,” said Seth Hoffman, a spokesman for Howard County police.
“This spilled into the parking lot, where witnesses say the victim approached the group, including the suspect. An altercation occurred. At that time, the suspect sh0t the victim. The suspect did remain on the scene, and he was arrested at the scene.”
Berry was a football standout at Hammond High School. His presence will truly be missed.
Billy Napier Lands in Hot Water as Bob Chesney Eyes Raid in JMU Territory
Billy Napier’s problem grow after he steps in as JMU Head Coach as Bob Chesney targeting some potential JMU athletes for UCLA.
After his midseason firing by the Gators, Billy Napier has quickly landed a new opportunity, as James Madison named him its head coach.
Still, this move feels more like a demotion than a fresh rise, as Napier is stepping down from a major program like Florida to coach at JMU.
That said, it would be a mistake to take JMU lightly. They are a playoff-caliber team, but much of the credit for that success goes to their former head coach rather than Napier himself.
For Napier, the challenge is clear: moving JMU forward will require a different mindset than the one he carried at Florida.
It will require a different approach, more adaptability, and far greater effort. But, for now, his problems seem to be increasing instead of easing.
In his own recruiting territory, Bob Chesney has already started making moves and winning over athletes, making Napier’s task at JMU even more difficult right from the start.
At the moment, Bob Chesney’s focus is firmly on JMU athletes Trent Wilson and Joseph Simmons.

If Chesney decides to bring them to UCLA, it could happen quite easily, largely because of the strong pre-existing connections they already share.
Billy Napier Could Suffer Big if JMU Loses Trent Wilson, Joseph Simmons

Joseph Simmons is a redshirt junior offensive lineman, and Trent Wilson is a freshman emerging as the best OL.
Both are offensive players capable of creating a serious impact on the gridiron, which is why JMU recruited them.
However, with Bob Chesney having already left JMU, there is a growing risk that these players could follow him to UCLA.
If that happens, it could become a challenge for Billy Napier in building JMU’s offensive future.
Coach Napier has only just started to establish himself at JMU, so it is important for him to inherit a partially settled roster.
Starting completely from scratch would make it difficult for him to bring noticeable improvements or move the program forward in the 2026 season.
Only time will tell how many players stay with Billy Napier and how many leave with Bob Chesney, but for now, Napier and JMU need to remain highly alert.
