Turning Point USA Reveals Their Plan For Alternate Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show That Is “100 Percent On”

A new halftime show comes up as Super Bowl 60 drama builds.

Turning Point USA says it still plans to hold its own halftime show during Super Bowl 60. The conservative group confirmed that the event will happen at the same time as the NFL’s official halftime show, which will feature Bad Bunny.

The group shared the update in a statement to TMZ. A spokesperson said the show is moving forward and that more than one performer is already confirmed. They did not reveal who will perform or what the show will look like.

Turning Point USA first talked about the idea months ago. The group said it wanted to offer an alternative for fans unhappy with recent NFL halftime shows. Interest in the plan grew after the death of founder Charlie Kirk in September.

Speaking to TMZ, Laitsch said the alternate show is “100 percent on.” She added that “multiple performers” have agreed to take part. However, she did not say where the show will happen or whether viewers will watch it live or through a pre-recorded stream.

Turning Point USA has often criticized the NFL for what it sees as political and cultural messaging. In the past, some supporters called for boycotts after the league chose Kendrick Lamar for a halftime show. Similar reactions followed the announcement of Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl 60 halftime performer.
