Despite everything that he has done, his wife is sticking by his side. The disgraced ex-University of Michigan football coach was spotted alongside his lawyer and his wife.

The program fired Moore last month. He apparently had an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. That staffer turned out to be Paige Shiver. She remains employed by the program. Soon after his firing, Moore was arrested for a third-degree felony charge of home invasion. He also caught one count of stalking and one count of breaking and entering.

The prosecutor said Moore is accused of grabbing butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors. He then threatened to kill himself at the house of the woman with whom he reportedly had a relationship. Through it all, his wife has remained by his side.

Former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore arrived in court for his probable cause hearing with his wife by his side on Thursday. Moore’s wife, Kelli Moore, was dressed in all black and made little to no facial expressions.

The 39-year-old Moore, on the other hand, was laughing alongside his lawyer for the status hearing in Ann Arbor. His wife remained stone-faced. The married dad of three was arrested after he allegedly stormed into the home of his lover and executive assistant.

Moore was dressed in a dark gray suit, a white shirt, and a black tie. The Free Press also reports that Sherrone had to flash his ankle monitor to security. It came after it set off the metal detector as he entered the courthouse.

During Thursday’s hearing, the defense requested a further 30 days for discovery in relation to ‘phone records’ and ‘Title IX documents.’

Moore’s attorney said: ‘There were statements made and things done earlier that day [when Moore was arrested] made by the complaining witness that will be important to this investigation because credibility will always be an issue.’

The defense also filed a motion to quash Sherrone Moore’s arrest warrant. His attorney requested separate dates for that motion. The prosecution will be due to respond to the motion by February 2nd.
