Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have a close friendship that began in 2023 when Swift started dating Travis Kelce. Soon, they would be watching games together and going out on dates.
Things got a bit risky in 2024 as fans assumed their friendship was on the mend due to their political affiliations. This is after Mahomes was revealed to be a Donald Trump supporter.

Fans noticed around voting time that Mahomes liked a post on former President Donald Trump’s account that outlined the Republican Party’s platform for the 2024 election, including deporting “pro-Hamas radicals” and keeping “men out of women’s sports.”
Taylor Swift would eventually come out as a supporter of Kamala Harris, a moment that had Donald Trump lashing out at her.
Despite the major political differences, they kept a united front. But, does it remain that way?

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have their fair share of differences, but it will not affect their friendship.
In a 2024 Vanity Fair article, a source close to Kase Wickman confirmed that the two have remained close.

“A source familiar with the pair’s friendship noted to Vanity Fair that people can have different political ideas or beliefs and still be friends,” wrote Wickman.
From private suite celebrations at Arrowhead Stadium to girls’ nights out during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl run, the two women have been almost inseparable.
They clearly will not let political differences stop them.
Both have continued showing up together at Chiefs games, often laughing and celebrating touchdowns from the team’s VIP suite.
Not only that, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made sure to call Brittany Mahomes and Patrick right after they got engaged.
