Social Media Isn’t Buying Rashee Rice’s Pathetic Attempt to Dodge His Domestic Abuse Scandal—Latest Post Backfires Spectacularly

If Rashee Rice is not careful, he’s going to find himself on the outside of the NFL.

Dacoda Jones, the mother of Rice’s two children, posted photos to Instagram that could have led to his suspension in 2026. She accused him of domestic violence going back years. Jones had pictures of a bloody lip, as well as scratches and bruises on her face and body.

In the caption of the post, she accuses an unnamed partner of physical abuse. It was clear that she was talking about Rice. Jones added that they broke up two months ago and alleges that her former partner abused her while she was pregnant. She also made allegations that he locked her outside in freezing weather and broke down the door to her home.

Rashee Rice was suspended for the first six games of the 2025 season. That was due to his violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy, stemming from his involvement in a 2024 hit-and-run incident in Dallas.

In the midst of his latest controversy, Rice took to social media, but not to speak on the allegations. Rice took to Instagram and posted about his young child turning 5 years old. He even wrote a long post for his son. Unfortunately for Rice, social media saw right through him and his tactics.

Rashee Rice previously pled guilty to two felony charges in his hit-and-run case. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation. The second-round pick of the Chiefs in the 2023 NFL Draft is an extreme talent. However, he can’t seem to get out of his own way.

Kansas City released a statement Wednesday confirming they are aware of domestic violence allegations.

“The club is aware of the allegations on social media and is in communication with the National Football League. We have no further comment at this time.”

After serving his suspension this season, he caught 53 passes for 571 yards and five touchdowns. The Chiefs finished 6-11 and missed the postseason for the first time since 2014.
